    Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can download dividend amounts and dates for ASX stocks?

I'm currently downloading daily prices, volumes, etc from Australian IPO and Float Information - but they don't do dividends.

    Try Trading Room

Australian Share Market - Stock Brokers, Stock Quotes & Share Portfolio, Market News - Tradingroom.com.au

    Click on Quotes & Charts
    Enter ASX code
    Select Dividend Details

This gives the dividend amount, % franked , date paid , etc

Highlight the table from Trading Room
    Right click mouse & copy.
In Excel highlight a few cells greater than the number of rows & columns of the Trading Roon table.
Right click mouse & paste (You probably get a message saying not correct size, but click OK anyway.

This gets the table to Excel as a xls file. To save as a csv file.

In Excel click File, Save As
From drop down menu 'save file as type' select CSV Comma separated value (You get a message of warning, but say yes anyway)

You then have your CSV file that can now be used to import into any software that supports the format.

Yeah - but that still involves me manually doing something :)

I think I'll just have to write a script that reads the page and chops out everything buy the data....

you can easily write the script but you will still need to mainly open the file each day to let it refresh.... then youd also still need to import it into your trading program if you wanted...

Actually it already updates the share prices and MF unit prices automatically. I've written my own code for tracking my portfolio.
