    Hi all,

I just thought I would share a very informative podcast I came across on Twitter today about the actual process of purchasing property and organising the loan and instalment warrant with your self managed super fund (SMSF).

You can find the podcast / interview here.

It is quite long - the best parts are from minutes 4 to 29 when Lee Woodward from Real Estate Academy is talking to Jason from Westpac about the practicalities of setting up the structure and the loan process.

    Well worth the listen.

Big thankyou for that Superman- there's simply not enough information out there about purchasing via a SMSF. :D

    Hi Jacque

I agree - in part - there is a lot of good information out there from people who do know what they are talking about, however most of the time it is simply too technical for the everyday investor.

I would like to share the following video / animation that provides an overview of how people can use their superannuation as the deposit to purchase geared property:

How to buy property with your super - video overview

This follows on from the podcast that I shared last week.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to post them.
