I've post up a copy of the Canberra Regional Investors Network newsletter. We have an event on Wednesday the 21st of November from 6:30pm. We have two GREAT speakers for this event and really want to get as many people in the door as possible to see them. So if your from Canberra (or can get here on the day) please consider comming along.
To close out 2007 we've invited some of Australia's most experienced and well-placed property and share market experts to provide CRIN members and guests with an insight into the trends for Australia for 2008, giving you a head start on your investment planning.
We've also planned a final Cashflow event for the year - this is your opportunity to play the most popular investment game in the world, socialising with other investors.
What is CRIN?
The Capital Region Investor Network, or CRIN, is a not-for-profit organisation of property, share and business investors from the ACT and surrounding regions.
The organisation's aim is to provide a forum where new and experienced investors can meet socially and share their knowledge with like-minded people without a sales or profit motive.
CRIN regularly holds events featuring speakers, panel discussions and social gatherings such as dinners, lunches and Cashflow or other investment games days.
2007 has been a topsy-turvy year for investors - interest rate rises, share price corrections and an impending election, alongside impressive growth in the economy, share market and many property markets. But what will next year bring?
To answer that question CRIN has invited Harley Dale, Chief Economist of the Housing Industry Association, and Helen Dent, ACT Chair and Director of the Australian Shareholders Association, to give us their views on where Australia is headed for 2008.
If you want to get a head start on your investment planning, join us at the Burns club on 21 November for the Property and Share market wrap.
Please RSVP ...
Date/Time: Sunday 9 December from 1.00pm

I'm also very interested in CRIN. Could you please provide a contact detail. Used to be involved in BIG (Better Investment Group) in Brisbane. Moved to Canberra in Sept 07 and have been looking for an investment group every since.
