    Hello,

I moved to Australia. I would like to trade via OZ brokers but I am confuse with fees. In my broker in Europe fees cost: Trade in USA min $12 per trade (I usualy spend US$5000 per trade.) For example: Buy=$12, Sell=12$. It is $24 per complete trade. I can trade ETF for same price. I can trade certificates and warrants from €7,9 to €16 it depends on emitents. If I do 20 complete trades per month I spend 20*24=$480. How much will cost these 20 trades per month with Ebroker or comsec?
Thanks and sorry for my English

    Hi Vodo,

As per ComSec's website Commonwealth Securities Ltd. they charge around $29.95 for parcels up to $10,000 and then 0.31% over the internet. This is per trade, ie, for a buy or a sale. If you have CDIA set up it is $19.95 per trade or 0.12% over $25,000.

This would be $40 per "complete" trade, 20 times a month this would be $480 per month. Obviously you would want to have a trading profit of at least this amount to break-even as well as to cover your time that you have spent.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Yes but

These prices are for the USA markets? Or just for OZ, I do not know OZ markets, shares etc. is it better Commsec or Etrade?

    Hi Vodo,

These are for trading on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), ComSec and ETrade are the dominant discount brokers in Australia. For further details you should visit their websites, www.comsec.com.au and Redirecting... to read up on their terms and conditions. There are other stockbrokers available and you can search them here on the ASX website Find a broker - Australian Securities Exchange - ASX .

    Cheers,

    Dan
