I've been trying to find information from official sources about how to start up an investment club, but am having no luck. Any links from blogs/websites to ASIC or ASX information are out of date. Searches on those sites return nothing relevant. Surely there must be some online information I can find?

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Much obliged.

I am offering a type of investment club by inviting people to use the positively geared property options I offer clients.

It can be used as a way of assisting a preferred charity, or assisting the person you refer to get additional benefts such as a reduction of legal fees etc when they buy.

As my area of operation at this stage is Queensland there may be positively geared property specialsts in other states that may also wish to add their product into the mix to assist property investors.

I use new properties so investors can further increase their returns via depreciation claims.

For more information visit my site Positively Geared Properties, Assets Cash flow Properties, Investment, Investor

    Regards

Thanks for your reply, but we're looking to specifically not invest in property.

What I am looking for is not a club to join, but information on HOW TO START our own investment club.

So far, all leads have come to dead ends. Does anyone know where there is freely available information about how ICs work and how to get one going?

    Hi Mogovore,

I looked at doing a similar thing a while ago and talking to an accountant friend of mine said the best option was a unit trust; the problem with any option though if carefully not crossing over the line where it because advice or getting too big in which case you will need a pds drawn up.

If you are looking for new parties please let me know as it is something I'm interested in.
