    Hi,

    has commsec historical ASX data for download (.csv or...)? And end of day data? I prefer free, because I have free data from USA markets and I do not want to pay for ASX data :). Or has it Etrade (ANZ)?
    And one more q, what is the tax like in Australia? In europe I pay 15% from profit.

    Hi Vodo,

    You can see Australian tax tables here MYEFO - Part 2: Personal Income Tax Reform

    Any profits are added to your income and you pay the relevant % of tax.

    Trading Room provides one year history for free on ASX stocks, don't believe it does indexes... however you can use the State street codes (STW - SPDR S&P/ASX 200 FUND instead of XJO) to get an approximation.

    Comsec does have EOD data. Go to News & Research > Charting > End of Day Price Data.
